Livstrygghet15.1.2025Sari Heinonen elected as new LocalTapiola PresidentSari Heinonen (PhD (Economics and Business Administration)) has today been appointed as the new President of LocalTapiola Group. Ms Heinonen will start in her new position at the beginning of May 2025. Ms Heinonen (48) will move to LocalTapiola Group from her current role as Executive Vice President, Healthcare Services at Terveystalo. Her previous positions include serving as Chief Executive Officer of OP Life Assurance, and at OP Group she was in charge of retail customers.

The functions of the Presidenthave been discharged on a temporary basis by Group Director Jari Eklund (chairmanship of LocalTapiola General’s and LocalTapiola Life’s Boards of Directors) and by Group Business Director Pekka Antikainen (operational functions). Mr Eklund and Mr Antikainen will continue in their roles until Ms Heinonen’s start.The LocalTapiola Group President acts as Chair of the Boards of Directors of LocalTapiola General and LocalTapiola Life.
